Have you ever kept pushing on something that just wasn’t working

Even though deep down, you knew it wasn’t supposed to?

Yeah… Me too.

Sometimes we call it persistence.

Sometimes we convince ourselves it’ll click “if we just give it a little more time.”

But after years of building, pushing, and figuring things out the hard way, I’ve learned this:

When something doesn’t flow, it’s not always a sign to push harder.

It’s a signal to pay attention.

It’s not about giving up but about tuning in.

Because misalignment doesn’t always scream. Sometimes it shows up subtly through:

  • Resistance
  • Confusion
  • Drained energy
  • Constant friction

And that’s not failure…

That’s just your system trying to tell you something isn’t aligned.

The past few weeks, we’ve been reworking a lot inside OPTION 3 and ExitDNA. Not because anything was “wrong”… but because some things stopped flowing. And we chose to listen.

We paused. We asked better questions. We looked honestly at what needed to evolve.

And that’s what I want to encourage you to do this week:

  1. If something feels off, listen.
  2. If something feels heavy, question it.
  3. If something feels forced, don’t ignore that.

Try this simple filter when things feel off:

  • Pause. Don’t rush to fix. Just stop. Create space to feel.
  • Ask: Is this flowing or forcing? Get honest. Is this coming naturally, or are you grinding to make it work?
  • What’s this trying to teach me? Every friction point is pointing to something: a boundary, a shift, or a lesson. What’s yours?
  • Adjust with intention. You don’t need to overhaul everything. Just make the next small, aligned move.

Alignment is not found by forcing.

It’s found by feeling. By noticing. And by adjusting with intention.

You don’t have to burn everything down. But you do have permission to shift what’s no longer serving you.

And if you’re craving more of the conversations that help you reflect, realign, and take the next intentional step,  that’s exactly why I created OPTION 3.

It’s more than strategy.

It’s a community of founders who get it… who are asking better questions, building with purpose, and supporting each other through the process.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.
